Is the BYD Battery-Box compatible with my existing solar system?

Yes. BYD batteries work with a wide range of leading hybrid inverters, including Fronius, GoodWe, Sungrow, and Selectronic. In most cases, you can add BYD storage to an existing solar system without major changes.

How much storage capacity can I get with a BYD battery?

The BYD Battery-Box is fully modular. You can start with a small setup (4–10 kWh) and expand over time. Larger homes and businesses can scale up to more than 200 kWh using multiple stacks.

Is the BYD Battery-Box safe in Queensland’s heat and humidity?

Yes. BYD uses high-safety LFP (lithium iron phosphate) chemistry and is rated for outdoor installation up to 50°C. It’s one of the most reliable and climate-resilient battery systems for South East Queensland.
